International Documentary Film Festival HumanDOC "Global Development in Cinema" is the first festival in Central and Eastern Europe and the third in the world combining innovative cinema event at the highest level of reflection on global issues. It is then a unique combination of documentary cinema at the highest level, social campaigns, debates and discussions. The 4th edition of the festival will take place between November 29th and 30th.
The films presented during the fesitval are original, full of passion and emotion that make people sensitive to social injustice, and above all inspire to action, show that even being here in Poland, we can change other people's lives for the better, helping even the remotest corners of the world. HumanDOC Festival will take you on trips to India, Pakistan, the countries of Central Africa, South Africa, and you will cross the Mediterranean Sea with illegal immigrants to the dream of Europe. The 4th Polish edition of the festival includes also the premiere films screened at international festivals, including the Oscar-nominated 'Saving face', and award-winning 'Soldiers on the Roof; and 'Meanwhile in Mamelodi'.
Film screenings are accompanied by special events: meetings with directors of films and authors of books from Czarne Independent Publishing House, debates, competitions for the audience, workshops, masterclasses and travel photography contest.
The screenings take place in Nowe Horyzonty Cinema.
