Studio - BWA Wroclaw

Studio was a former workshop of BWA Wroclaw, for some time now it has been an independent presenting, organising, exhibiting and workshop unit. It is a place of a quick reaction to the artists, activists and theoreticians' needs.

The gallery aims at the artists born around 1980s, though the quality and attractiveness of its programme are more important than the generation’s manifesto. The atmosphere of a Berlin loft, the possibility of hammering nails wherever you wish, the lack of a posh atmosphere of vernissages mingle with refreshing thinking about art and theoretical reflection on contemporary times. Trends from Poland and abroad with an accent on the local context. Unfortunately you will not be able to find information about Studio's programme in any periodicals. Studio is open to visitors during vernissages and as indicated in invitations to the shows.

Address: 46a Ruska Street
